I have three stories I’m going to share.

The first story is when auntie Evie and my mother came up to visit me in Boston. The year was 1976, so mom was 53 and auntie Evie was 46. We went for a walk in the town of Cambridge Massachusetts. We walked by a store that had a waterbed in the window for an advertisement. Well, mom and auntie Evie thought they had to go in and try that bed out. And that’s what they did. They got on the bed in the display window and were rolling around , like they were toddlers! They were laughing, and having so much fun  As for me, I was a little embarrassed!

My next story, is one of the times I saw my mother laugh so hard she couldn’t even talk. We had gone to church, and Max came with us. He was a little sleepy so he decided he would go and sit in the car to wait for us. When the service was done, mom came out to look for him. She looked in my car and no Max, she went into the hall-no Max. She came back outside and looked on the other side of my car  and through the window and down three cars, she could see Max sleeping in the driver seat of somebody else’s vehicle. She could not control her self. She could barely get Max out of the car and into my car. She just cracked up

My third memory is about going to the movies on Tuesday nights . Mom would make me a salad for dinner and we would sit there on the bench and I would eat. But one time she came, and she came with a lizard on her pants. Well, we all know how she feels about lizards. She was doing her dance to get that lizard off. I was sure she was going to be taking her pants off . It was pretty funny.
